Uscito appena in tempo, cioè poco prima che scoppiasse lo scandalo dei petrorubli del Metropol e si verificasse la strana crisi di Ferragosto, I demoni di Salvini. I postnazisti e la Lega è un libro sprecato.
Certo, il titolo promette tanto e l’autore è una garanzia di qualità: parliamo di Claudio Gatti, giornalista d’inchiesta di gran livello, già corrispondente Usa de L’Europeo, vicedirettore de Il Mondo, inviato speciale de Il Sole 24Ore e autore di numerosi volumi che gli sono valsi altrettanti riconoscimenti. E l’editore, Chiarelettere, resta un dop, a dispetto del fatto che il suo catalogo non sia più quello dello scorso decennio.

Ma ciò non basta a eliminare l’impressione che Gatti abbia imbastito solo un’operazione giornalistica con cui la casa editrice milanese tenta di cavalcare gli umori antisalviniani di una parte dell’opinione pubblica, in questo caso di sinistra, sintonizzandosi nel filone aperto da Il libro nero della Lega, il fortunato libro-inchiesta di Giovanni Tizian e Stefano Vergine, pubblicato a febbraio da Laterza.
Il risultato è un volume dall’impostazione ideologica forte e un po’ vecchia, in cui fanno capolino le tentazioni censorie di certa sinistra che fu.
Per chiarire meglio, è il caso di tentare una sintesi estrema della tesi di Gatti, utilizzando le sue stesse espressioni.
Scrive, infatti, il giornalista romano:
«Salvini è a mio giudizio molto più preoccupante di un fascista. È un cinico opportunista che ha assecondato un’operazione d’infiltrazione culturale e politica da parte di un manipolo di persone classificabili come “postnazisti”. E, a seguito di tale operazione, è diventato agente d’influenza di una potenza straniera, la Russia di Putin».
Una tesi piuttosto larga, che presenta non poche smagliature logiche.

Infatti: è vero, e Gatti lo dimostra bene, soprattutto col ricorso a fonti dirette, che non pochi reduci di certa destra radicale sono saliti (o hanno tentato di salire) sul Carroccio sin dalle sue origini.
Ed è altrettanto probabile che Salvini li abbia lasciati fare con la consueta insensibilità culturale dei cinici. Ma da ciò a parlare di influenza organica ne corre.
Stesso discorso per i rapporti con la Russia. Ovviamente sono veri i legami tra alcuni postnazisti della Lega, dentro e fuori il cerchio magico del Capitano, con esponenti del mondo rossobruno postsovietico, a partire dall’eurasista Aleksandr Dugin, che ha dichiarato in più occasioni la propria ammirazione nei confronti del leader leghista.
Ma da ciò a ipotizzare un’altra influenza organica ne corre.
Idem, finalmente, per i rapporti tra Salvini e il suo partito e la Russia putiniana: esistono certamente e sono affettuosamente dichiarati. Ma da qui a ipotizzare una subordinazione analoga a quella del Pci preberlingueriano all’Urss ne corre. A meno che non si riesca a provare la pista dei finanziamenti (su cui sta lavorando la magistratura), in maniera altrettanto credibile di quel che è avvenuto in Francia per il Front National di Marine Le Pen.

Al netto di questo, non è proprio possibile provare, sulla base delle sole suggestioni ideologiche, il ruolo di agente d’influenza attribuito da Gatti a Salvini, sulla base di una definizione del generale Ambrogio Viviani ripresa dal sito Gnosis e che riportiamo anche noi, ma per intero, a beneficio del lettore:
l’agente di influenza «è un agente segreto che opera sotto mentite spoglie ma apertamente, senza commettere alcun reato, diffondendo idee, sostenendo teorie, dirigendo movimenti di opinione, secondo le direttive ricevute e seguite allo scopo di conseguire determinati effetti nell’ambiente avversario in funzione degli obiettivi della politica del proprio Paese».
Ma, prosegue la definizione, l’agente d’influenza
«è anche colui che per convinzione personale agisce nello stesso modo, senza rendersi conto di essere […] manipolato da altri e quindi senza rendersi conto, magari in buona fede, di operare per interessi estranei ed esterni e addirittura in contrasto con quelli del proprio Paese».
Insomma, l’agente d’influenza è una figura oscillante tra l’infido Jago e l’utile idiota. Non potendo provare che Salvini e il suo staff entrino nella prima parte della definizione, Gatti forza la mano per inserirli nella seconda.

Ora, è vero che la rozzezza e l’ignoranza (e l’intruglio ideologico che ne deriva) dei vertici leghisti sono a prova di bomba. Ma da qui a trattarli da idioti ne corre. Anzi, Gatti alla fin fine non riesce a provare neppure questo.

È senz’altro vera e provata la strategia entrista di vari gruppi più o meno metapolitici di destra radicale, a partire da Orion, un cenacolo guidato da un sopravvissuto degli anni di piombo come Maurizio Murelli. Ed è corretto dire che questi gruppi abbiano infiltrato la Lega sia perché la percepivano come un contenitore vuoto sia perché attratti dall’aspetto Volkisch (quasi alla lettera: nazionalpopolare) della visione postideologica delle piccole patrie.

Molto più difficile è quantificare il reale peso politico di questi gruppi all’interno della Lega, bossiana prima e ora di Salvini: tolto Borghezio, che tra l’altro si è sempre allineato ai voleri dei vertici (inclusa la scelta di non ricandidarlo al Parlamento europeo) è difficile dire quanti ex neofascisti e postnazisti abbiano fatto carriere importanti nel Carroccio. E inoltre, se davvero questi gruppi, presenti sin dalle origini, avessero avuto un peso forte, certe capriole ideologiche e comportamentali del Senatur sarebbero state molto più difficili.
E c’è da chiedersi perché molti di questi postnazisti abbiano rilasciato dichiarazioni importanti (e compromettenti) proprio a Gatti: gliele ha estorte coi trucchetti tipici dei cronisti di grande valore? Volevano mettersi in mostra? Oppure, più semplicemente, levarsi qualche sassolino dalle scarpe?

Ci fermiamo qui per non finire nelle illazioni. Già: passi per un ex postnazista pentito, come Alberto Sciandra, che ha raccontato la sua infiltrazione con una certa serenità (ma sarebbe altrettanto interessante apprendere i motivi dell’esfiltrazione con altrettanta serenità…). Ma gli altri? Che motivi hanno avuto di esternare e, quindi, danneggiare l’immagine pubblica della Lega, più di quanto non sia già compromessa, e di violare la loro stessa strategia di suggeritori occulti svolta fino a pochissimo tempo fa in pienissima immersione?
Mistero.
Un discorso a parte merita la complessa e caotica elaborazione ideologica in corso in Russia (ma anche in quasi tutti gli altri Paesi dell’ex blocco orientale): non c’è dubbio che l’eurasismo e il nazionalbolscevismo abbiano un ruolo forte nel dibattito pubblico russo. Ma da ciò ad affermare che Putin applichi pedissequamente queste dottrine, magari in base a una convinta adesione ideologica e intellettuale, ne corre.

L’eurasismo, in particolare, non è una teoria postnazista. È una dottrina geopolica. Più precisamente, è la versione postmoderna di una linea di pensiero che ha caratterizzato la politica estera russa dall’epoca degli zar a oggi, incluse alcune fasi della vicenda sovietica (si pensi, per fare un esempio celebre, alla dottrina Breznev). Più semplicemente, Putin è l’interprete perfetto della geopolitica di un Paese enorme, ricco di risorse ma finanziariamente povero (solo quattro punti in più rispetto al pil italiano), costretto a mantenere un esercito imponente e a tenere un atteggiamento aggressivo, con tutti i mezzi, compresi l’intelligence e le guerre asimmetriche. E, a proposito di fascismi: ciascuno ha il suo. Infatti, gli house organ di Mosca non hanno mancato di rinfacciare ai Paesi concorrenti, specie nei momenti di crisi, le loro influenze postfasciste, magari stimolate e finanziate dagli Usa di Obama: a partire dall’Ucraina per finire con le Repubbliche baltiche e la Polonia. Insomma, Putin fa il suo con tutti i mezzi a disposizione. Ciò lo rende senz’altro un pericolo, ma per ragioni più concrete di un criptofascismo tutto da provare.

Per questo la vera domanda è un’altra: bastano pochi postnazisti, anche di poco spessore come Gianluca Savoini, per ipotizzare un comportamento della Lega supino ai voleri del nuovo, pericolosissimo, zar?
Proprio no. Non basta aver letto male Evola e de Benoist per essere dei pericoli pubblici. Ed è proprio in questo aspetto che si annida il pericolo della narrazione di Gatti: la nuova censura. O meglio, il risveglio della censura di certi anni ’70.
Infatti, senza neppure approfondire troppo, la categoria di postnazismo elaborata da Gatti è tanto vasta quanto vaga: include autori piuttosto diversi tra loro e getta in un unico calderone ogni forma di critica al pensiero e al sistema liberale alternativa al marxismo. Quindi, il tradizionalista Evola si trova a fianco di Alain de Benoist, il papà della Nuovelle Droite. I classici della Konservative Revolution, come Junger e Spengler (e a voler osare Heidegger) vanno a braccetto coi teorici nazisti alla Otto Rahn. Peggio ancora, l’inserimento in questa compagnia di un esoterista sufi come René Guenon, cui testi sono letti anche nelle logge massoniche di provincia più innocue.
Delle due l’una: o Gatti ha messo in moto il solito tritacarne a cui ricorrono i giornalisti quando si occupano di ciò che non conoscono, oppure lancia segnali ad ambienti culturali e politici ben precisi. Magari quelli che l’anno scorso hanno impedito la presenza di de Benoist al dibattito della Feltrinelli.

Nuovi tempi, vecchie censure.
Una cosa è vera, ci mancherebbe: molti neofascisti e neonazisti, passati e presenti, hanno dichiarato di ispirarsi a Evola e di leggere de Benoist. Ma questo non significa che i tanti lettori (intellettuali o, semplicemente di cultura) che si sono cimentati con questi autori siano potenziali neonazisti. A meno che non si vogliano considerare tali Massimo Cacciari e Galli della Loggia.
Il vero pericolo della Lega di Salvini, che si è limitato ad aggiornare la formula politica rodata dal vecchio Jean-Marie Le Pen, non consiste nella ripresa di elaborazioni neonaziste, ma nella mancanza di elaborazioni, che non servono affatto per far leva sulla xenofobia e sull’ossessione securtaria di molti italiani. Già, non serve ragionare per parlare alle pance in subbuglio. Salvini, come prima di lui i grillini, hanno semplicemente distrutto una concezione della politica basata sulla critica e sul ragionamento (e certo, anche sulle ideologie) e si sono fatti largo nel vuoto. L’unico sonno della ragione che può aver generato certi mostri è l’ignoranza, non le letture fatte male né cattivi maestri di poco peso politico.
L’unica pista praticabile per dimostrare l’asservimento di Salvini a Putin resta quella dei soldi. Ma, al riguardo, Gatti si è limitato a riproporre con qualche approfondimento le inchieste svolte da Buzzfeed e riprese dalle corazzate mediatiche di De Benedetti.
A voler stringere, I demoni di Salvini resta solo la storia di alcuni gruppi di ex neofascisti che hanno tentato l’avventura nella Lega perché le svolte postfasciste di Fini gli avevano sbarrato il passo.
Dopodiché, il resto è da dimostrare. Ma tutto fa pensare che questo compito, che si annuncia non facile né leggero, non toccherà ai giornalisti.
